Great toque, Rick! Your unmatched set of accessories makes you look like a knitter. We are always wearing a Heinz 57 of hats, scarves and mitts. Stay warm!
That makes me feel better about it! I've had the hat and scarf for years, but this is the first time I've worn the scarf and just the second outing for the hat. I should have swipped my wife's expertly knitted scarf, but I'd feel guilty if I did.
Yikes! I was afraid it would be worse there, be careful! Our wind chill maxed out at -15 and some school districts closed. Some opened late, which made less sense...the difference in temperature was only 3 or 4 degrees.
LOL, I didn't match back then either. Thank goodness white shirts go with everything or I would be lost. Hmmm, I just realized I'm only thinking about work clothes...that's probably not good!
thanks for all the lovely comments! they serve fish and chip here with mushy peas haha. and you can tell your wife i'm one of the last few that sews :P
Oh no! At first I thought I hope your pockets are warm. But then remembered it's dangerous to walk with your hands in your pockets (especially if there's snow or ice on the ground). Keep warm!
Woo-hoo! I'm finally "in", that never happens. :) I feel guilty for not wearing the scarf sooner, it is nice (fleece on one side and silk on the other). It was a gift, so I should have worn it! I bought the hat because I knew I would look silly in it, and because it's really warm.
I forget my gloves too often. But I keep a pair in the car always--the steering wheel gets too cold! I can't remember if I've ever had mittens. I hear they are much warmer, so I need to give them a try.

Deleteomg if i had an adult snowsuit, i would have worn it today. it's -37C with the windchill. MOTHER NATURE, STOP IT ALREADY!!
