A piece of me...February 2010

This is a monthly game started by Notes from the Toothfairy. The game is to share info about yourself on the 1st Sunday of every month. This month....

I like: that everything outside is so pretty thanks to a huge snowstorm and that this game brought Toothfairy back on-line

I don't like: that I was completely unprepared for this game. where did the month go? Also, while the snow is pretty, shoveling 2+ feet of heavy snow sucks!!!

I want you to know: I'm hoping I don't have to go to work tomorrow (more than usual).

I've planned: to buy a new (most likely used) car in the near future. Repair costs are mounting on the old ones.

I want to say to someone special: I'm so glad we're friends! Friendship adds sweetness and fun to life. =)

PS - I just heard on the news that I have the day off tomorrow. Ya-hoo!!!

  4. Goodluck with the car Rick :)
My friends who are in the States would say SNOWCALYPSE, lol. But I saw the footage in the news, that's a whole lot of snow. In DC, they had to close down some of the shops. The White House was literally white coz of all the snow! Stay Safe. ☮.♥.☆

I have to be at work despite of my lazy bone I am still coming in, Mondays has been such a drag to me. What kind of car are you thinking to buy?

I miss the snow, Seattle has been so blah but everyone seems to love out early-early Spring.

  11. lol. I don't know if eating bananas attract mosquitoes. I heard smart people's sweat attract them. I don't know? It's probably something with the chemicals, I'm not so sure about that.

Sometimes, there's no point of using an old car... all those repairs will eventually add up and sometimes, it's better just to get a brand new car. Just my opinion.

  19. I have a cousin who lives in washington state...i said to her, "Inday, snow must be really nice, isn't it?" "Yeah, sure...but not if you have to keep shoveling it everyday." So, beauty comes at a price, eh?

  27. Glad you had the day off and I hope you get the new (sometimes you can get relatively new secondhands) car soon. Practicality is the works!

  28. Hooray! Knowing you have the day off when you're suppose to be working is one of the best feelings ever. Good luck with all that white winter weather.

Ohhhh so your wifey wants to go out? You probably already know but just wanted to remind you that all the restaurants are probably gonna be PACKED! Maybe you guys can go to a mediocre restaurant and go to a dessert place to make up for not going to the high end ones. Hope you figure something out! 4 days left!!

  29. Yes, I am a pisces... when is your birthday?
Mine is on the 22nd... easy one to remember. 2-22.
Someone roasted the cookies? Hmmm... I think I am more with you on just popping them in the microwave for a few seconds, think roasting is a bit fancy for cookies that come in a box wrapped in plastic. Although is does look like there is marshmallow on the inside and roasted marshmallows are nice. So who knows?
Sounds like you got a lot of snow, we got quite a bit as well, but nowhere near 2 foot.

  30. Ricccccccc!! I really had wish I bought a snow blower before all the snow!! Shoveling 24 inches of snow is NOT fun!! I have yet to make my igloo.. maybe tomorrow since I have the day off again, haha! YAY!!! Have they plowed your streets yet??

    Be careful and stay warm!
