More poetry


If you let me take your heart
I will prove to you
We will never be apart
If I'm part of you

Open up your eyes now
Tell me what you see
It is no surprise now
What you see is me

Big and black the clouds may be
Time will pass away
If you put your trust in me
I'll make bright your day

Look into these eyes now
Tell me what you see
Don't you realise now
What you see is me


What do you think?  Is this one a winner?

I won't be offended it you don't like it.  I'll be shocked, but not offended.  Because I did not write this.  John Lennon and Paul McCartney did.  It's the first half of "Tell Me What You See" (a Beatles' song). 

It goes really well with music.  :)

      Amen! At different times (depending on my mood), several of their songs qualify as "my favorite".

      It is a nice song, but not my favorite from the Beatles. I chose it mostly because Ithought the words would not be immediately recognized as a Beatles' song.

    I have to confess... and please don't hate me. I'm not a huge fan of the Beatles. Sure, they have some songs that I like and enjoy, but I just don't LOVE them. I know I know, I'm a terrible person! Luckily, I found the only other living person out there who feels the same way as me, my husband. Haha! :)

      WHAT!! lol, actually that's a good thing. To me it's weird if EVERYONE likes something. It's not natural. And this is just another sign you and the mister were destined to find each other.

      PS - But you do love "In My Life," right??? I mean, everyone should love that song! :D
