I gave the middle finger on my left hand a real workout today!
My right elbow was sore, so I decided to use my left hand to operate the mouse (on my PC) at work. So it was middle finger for single-clicking and index finger for double clicking. I could have borrowed a left-handed mouse, but it seemed easier to stick with the right-handed pattern of single-click being on the left side of the mouse and double click on the right. My brain can only handle so much.
Happy Friday!
Funny post title ;).
ReplyDeleteI'll be here all week and there may be a matinee on Saturday. :)
DeleteI thought what! Hahaha... I think it is easier to use a left-handed mouse? I don't know. my brain works in mirror images I guess.
ReplyDeleteI hope your elbow and fingers are fine. Take care!
Mostly better, thank you! Sorry for the head fake on the title...it does sound like a lead in for a story about a bad experience. :)
Deletelol, not what I expected, but then again, exactly what I expected... xo
ReplyDeleteYou're getting to know me too well! :)
DeleteLOL Rick :)
ReplyDeleteThe elbow thing is cleared up--it was the last, lingering after-effect of the snow shoveling. Good thing I don't have to muck stalls. Or maybe I need to start!
DeletePS - I thought I replied to this comment, but can't find any evidence of that.
I advise taking up knitting. It's a great way to keep your fingers flexible. That way if you need that underused middle finger for something like operating a mouse, it will be ready for the job. It is way more socially acceptable than some of the other workouts you could give that finger. :-)
ReplyDeletehaha, I do try to remain socially acceptable--and except for one notable exception I have been successful for the past 15-20 years. As we used to say on the playground, he started it!
DeleteI am curious about knitting. Does it help keep arthritis at bay? Or accelerate it? If only there was some central place I could look for that information. :)
LOL, you crack me up, I've missed your posts. Glad to be back on Blogger, hopefully I'll be here to stay this time.
